Statement of Services for Women

Our non-profit organization (WWLGW) is dedicated to offering comprehensive support to women who have been violated by the abuse of power. We provide financial assistance for counseling therapy to help women who have experienced sexual exploitation and the trauma of abuse by men in power.

In partnership with Total Life Counseling Dallas, under the leadership of Dr. Jada Jackson-Hill in Dallas, Texas, we strive to empower women to seek therapy. Through therapy, women can regain their identity, confidence and sense of well-being often eroded or devastated by abuse. We firmly believe that while abuse can harm a person for years on end, the synergistic combination of prayer and therapy can empower and bring about freedom.

Patricia Arps, author of Imprisoned by Secrets of the Heart and "Cancel" Your Imprisonment, shares her personal account of processing the pain and abuse of power she experienced at the hands of her former pastor, who instead of being the caretaker of the flock, preyed upon her vulnerabilities. Her story underscores how therapy, prayer and the Hand of God can have a profound impact in reclaiming one’s identity and purpose.

Our mission is to support women in their journey to healing and self-discovery, and ensuring they receive the necessary resources to reclaim their lives and fulfill their true potential.

Mission

The purpose of this corporation shall be to promote spiritual fellowship; nurture and enhance spiritual growth; to address issues that inflict hurts and wounds, and to energize women to pursue their God given gifts and talents.

WWLGW was incorporated in May 1997, founded by President Emeritus Mary Jean Cunningham, whose heart was dedicated to supporting broken women. In 2014, Mary Jean Cunningham passed the torch to her daughter, Patricia Arps, who is now the WWLGW President.  Together, they have been driven by a shared commitment to address the wounds of the brokenhearted through tools and services that promote healing and wholeness.

You've done everything you can think of to get rid of it, but you haven't. You've tried desperately to forget it, but you can't. You think you're alone, but you're not.
That dark secret-the one you buried in the deepest recess of your heart, the one you vowed never to reveal to another living soul, the one that makes you cringe every time it pops into your mind.

Whether it's from hurt, shame, abuse, or fear, we all struggle with inner imprisonment at some time or other. Patricia Arps tackles this subject head-on, providing both moving personal accounts and answers to how you can experience a joy-filled new life as you break free from the secrets of your heart by canceling your imprisonment.
